Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

The following providers have applied for and been approved to offer  Continuing Education Units for the Poetics of Aging Conference.  Each  day’s program will include professional continuing education units  available for that day.  See the Continuing Education Guidelines Sheet  in the Conference packet for specific instructions.

Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses:  Primary Care Associate Program, Stanford School of Medicine, is approved  as a provider of continuing education for registered nurses by  California State Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #01306). 

Clinical Licensed Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists: Stanford Geriatric Education Center is accredited as a provider of  continuing education for LCSWs and MFTs by California Board of  Behavioral Sciences (Provider #4379). 

Nursing Home Administrators: CLH Center for  Spirituality and Aging is an approved provider of continuing education  for Nursing Home Administrators by the California Nursing Home  Administrator Program (Provider # 401602).

Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly: AgeSong  is an approved provider of continuing education for RCFEs by the State  of California, Health and Human Services Agency (Provider number  2000179-740-2).

National Certified Counselors: Career Planning and  Adult Development Network is approved as a provider of continuing  education for NCCs by the National Board for Certified Counselors  (Provider #5055).

Global Career Development Facilitators: Dr. Sally  Gelardin is an Approved Provider of continuing education for Global  Career Development Facilitators by the Center for Credentialing and  Education, an affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors.

When you enter the conference at the beginning of each day, go to the  CE table next to Registration and pick up the CE daily form specific to  your certificate or license. You will be given two copies of the form.  Fill out each form. Keep one copy and return the other to the CE table.

When you enter an approved CE workshop, you will receive 2 copies of a  workshop evaluation form. Please fill out the form before you leave the  workshop and give 1 copy to the monitor of the workshop. One copy of  the CE form will be kept for conference records.
